Summer Practice Started
Well, in case you haven’t noticed the birds are chirping and the sun is shinning a little more than usual.
No longer will you be trapped inside with the same recirculated chlorinated air when you swim with the Catfish. Open up your lungs and get ready to breath. We've move to our super long 50M pool at Centennial Park in Wilmette.
Get ready to set your alarms for early swims. The Wild Catfish start swimming at 5:15 – 6:30 AM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 - 10:15 PM on Tuesday and Thursdays, and 7:15 – 8:45 AM on Saturdays. The fun all starts on Monday June 9th and runs until Saturday, August 30th. Of course we will have excellent guidance from Heidi and her awesome coaching staff to help you achieve your swimming goals. The cost for the entire summer will be $165 payable to Evanston Masters. Fill out the 2008 Summer Registration Form, get your checks ready and bring them to practice to begin your fun in the sun!
14th Annual Chicago Area Swim Across America Fundraiser
Come to Ohio Street Beach on July 19th at 8am and swim 1/2 Mile, 1M, 1.5M or 3M in Lake Michigan
to raise money for the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center. You can swim as an individual or as part of the SWIM FOR LIFE - TEAM EVANSTON.
Everyone on our team has been touched by cancer in some way, whether it is an immediate family member, a close friend or relatives and friends of people close to us. We hope our contributions to Swim Across America and its mission will in some way help to put an end to this horrific disease and honor those who have and are struggling with its devastation.
As a Team, we look forward to the swim as a day to honor LIFE: a day of thanks for our health, a day of thanks for freedom, a day of appreciation for our friends and love ones and a day of giving to those who need our help. We thank you for your support and ask you to be as generous as you can. Together, we can all make a difference.

Annual Beach Party
Steve and Carol Mullins are once again opening their summer beach house in Michigan for a party on
July 19th. Come up after practice or after the Swim Across America Fundraiser on Ohio Street Beach for a party with the Wild Catfish in Harbert MI. You can camp on the beach or reserve a bed in the bunk house with Steve.
Steve revs up his ski boat for fun on Lake Michigan. There will be bbq'ing, volleyball, swimming, water skiing and time to kick back and relax with the Catfish. Once the sun goes down there will be a bonfire, smores and fireworks. Bring your swimsuit, favorite party beverage, something to grill and something to pass, and head north on July 19th for some fun in the sun with the Wild Catfish. First Annual Evanston Masters Summer Long Course Meet
We have a new goal for you to train towards this summer. On Sunday August 3, we will be hosting our first annual summer long course swim meet. It will consist of 10 individual events and 2 relays. It will be a great way to measure your fitness that you’ve worked on all summer. The meet will start at 7:30am
