On Thursday, Day 1 of Nationals in the 50 Fly Emma Gross (25-29) swam to a 15th, Nell Cunningham (40-44) and husband, Brian Cunningham (35-39) both were 11th (with baby David on deck cheering them on). The Illinois Masters Mixed X160 800 Free Relay (Nadine Day, Andreas Seibt, Kimberly Stevens, Thomas McCabe) set a new National record by 13 seconds.

Kimberly Stevens dominated another free event with a 2nd in the 50 free. Ann Stevens (75-79) made a strong showing with a 3rd in the 50 Back and a 2nd in the 200 IM.Free
